Hi
I am using Mandrill with wpMandrill installed, and I have a event of 600 people. When I email all attendee it only send around 80 emails then the page bounces to a “Page not found”. Checked Mandrill and for sure only around 80 requests has reached them.

With my max_execution_time sets to 900 already, is there any method I can raise the “timeout” time or something I can do?

Thanks
Yipeng

Hi Yipeng,

In EE3 one thing that you can do that will help is reduce the number of shortcodes being parsed. So for example, if the event date is being pulled as a shortcode for this email, type the actual date instead. This will reduce the time it takes to process each of the 600 emails you’re trying to send all at once.

hey Josh
I have used fname lname ticket_link and qrcode for the mass email.
Still it send out only 80-ish email one time.

Is there any wp plugin that can group all email to be sent to send batch by batch instead of sending out one time?

Hi Yipeng,

There are two that I’m aware of:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/mail-queues/

http://semperplugins.com/plugins/wordpress-mail-queue-wpmq/
