September 12, 2014 at 11:26 am Hi there! We’ve been using EE3 for about four months and it has completely changed our system for the better! However, there are numerous features that are obviously very appealing about EE4 instead and we hope to migrate over seamlessly when the time comes. There are a few concerns about feature loss from EE3, so I’m putting this in pre-sales to hopefully reach the right person. There are four EE3 features that we absolutely can’t live without: promo codes, waiting lists, attendee profiles, and the use of Stripe WITHOUT Mijireh. I was wondering if EE4 will have these four things at some point, and, if it will, if there is a timeline for when we can expect these features as we absolutely cannot migrate to EE4 without them. I know a while ago I voted in a survey for them as priorities ๐ Thanks for the great work; EE3 has been a total lifesaver! |

Hi Lauren, Thank you for the kind words. ๐ Promotion codes are on our roadmap. Current ETA is sometime in 2015. As far as Stripe, we don’t have an estimated time of completion for the gateways. If you are interested in sponsoring the development of Stripe for EE4, then see this page for details. |

Thanks so much for the swift reply! Regarding the attendee profiles – my understanding was that that wasn’t so much WP user integration, but say – sending someone a unique link to update their registration details or to pay their registration fees. Is that the same as WP user integration and if not, is it either already in place for EE4 or on the roadmap? Thanks! |

Hello, A shortcode can be included in the Attendee List area of the message editor: [EDIT_ATTENDEE_LINK] http://cl.ly/image/221d261t2m3g — |

Oh okay, so that already is in EE4. In the feature comparison list, only EE3 is checked as having it. Thanks! |

That is indeed due for an update! We’ve recently released Event Espresso 4.4 which will change some of the information on that page. Have a great weekend! — |
