I corresponded with Jonathan on this matter earlier.

cgdp.org.sg EE hasn’t been working for few wks now.

i have 2 EE accounts – myong single license and WSMAdmin – 5 license. If it’s a license key issue, we could use another key from the WSMAdmin account. could you confirm?

CGDP EE has an old EE version, and we can’t even tell which key was used for it.

Customizations (mainly CSS) has been done, so we are reluctant to upgrade WP and EE.

Hi Andy,

Licence keys have no bearing on the functionality of the plugin, they are for auto updates and confirming you have a support licence.

If you have a developer licence you can of course add one of those keys in, but as said, it doesn’t affect the plugin.

In what way has the plugin stopped working? Is it working in the admin?

At the very least you have a javascript error on your site, which will stop some things like the calendar from working. It looks like you have some javascript files loading before jQuery itself, so they are not finding what they need to run so stop and stop everything else from working.

While I understand your reluctance to upgrade, there have been many feature additions and bug/security fixes made to both WordPress and Event Espresso since your version, so I would suggest considering upgrading.

CSS updates could be ported to a plugin such as MY Custom CSS to make upgrades somewhat less painful, though any PHP ot HTML changes would need to be done on the new templates.

Hi Andy,

We got your Priority Support Token, and I know you have been corresponding with Jon, but if you could just explain a little bit more about what the problem is, we would be happy to assist you further with getting it resolved.

I have found the problem. In WordPress, under Event Espresso > General Settings > Page Settings, you had the page “Events/ Continual Dental Eduation” set as the Main Registration Page. However, you did not have the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode on that page. I added the shortcode to that page and the registration form is now showing. It looks like this has resolved your issues.
