Go to payingitforwardforpurple.com

Site loads fine, EE is installed fine, we have collected about $6000 of ticket sales through EE (Great!).

Problem is that for some people, they never get to the success page after entering CC information and clicking Submit. It just hangs there for 5 minutes, etc. The registration that appears as Abandoned.

We checked the Stripe log and there is an entry, but not a charge. No error message, no card expired message, nothing.

I suppose that it could be the site itself. We do not have a caching plugin installed (had Super Cache but removed).

Could you help me to figure this out?

Thanks.

Hi Joseph, there are two things that I would check:

1) Turning off a caching plugin and deleting it may not delete the old caching files as caching is enabled on the WordPress level and then the caching plugin handles the actual caching tasks.

Check this location via an SFTP or FTP client (e.g. FileZilla, Cyberduck) to see if there are an old cache_ or advanced_cache files:

/wp-content

If there are, try removing those.

2) Be sure that your software is up to date:
