EE displaying 3rd event instead of 1st

My EE solution has been working fine, but today I noticed on my home page, where I display a link to the next date for each event, that one of the events (Trauma-informed Care) is displaying my event in May rather than my event in February. The other events on the home page are properly listing the next event. If I click over to the courses page where all date times are listed, they are all listed properly. If I click over the calendar page, they are all listed properly there too. It’s only the home page where the code is set to list the next date time where it’s not doing it correctly. I have date times for that event in Feb, March, April, and May, so it’s listing the last one instead of the first one. The feature never had this issue before, and I have not changed the code. I do not know if it’s been doing this from the moment I added these date times or if it went from working properly to improperly because I never thought to check on this. The URL for the homepage is below.

WordPress Version: 6.4.2
PHP Version: 8.0.30
MySQL Version: 8.0.28
Event Espresso Version: 5.0.10.p

I should add that the home page is CORRECTLY listing the trauma course event first (from left to right) and the later February events afterwards, so it seems to be recognizing on one level that the very next event IS this trauma course, even though the date displayed is in May. I have clicked through the settings on all the relevant tickets and date times and see nothing wrong with any of them.

How do you display the event? Did you use shortcode? can you send us the shortcode you used?

thanks

[ESPRESSO_GRID_TEMPLATE limit=3]

This code has always displayed the three upcoming events that are nearest in time.

can you upgrade your EE and see if that solve your issue, You can also add the sort in the shortcode.

[ESPRESSO_GRID_TEMPLATE limit=15 sort=ASC] or DESC for Descending.
