EE Broken since upgrading to WordPress 4.7.1

WordPress Version: 4.7.1
PHP Version: 5.6.10-pl0-gentoo
MySQL Version: 5.5.5
Event Espresso Version: 4.9.19.p
https://www.bristol.gs/revision-courses/ (scroll down)

I upgraded to WordPress 4.7.1, and now when clicking on a EEW event I get Error 404: Page not found, even if from the back end I click ‘View Event’.

I can see there’s a EE update available, but it says:
Compatibility with WordPress 4.7.1: Unknown

I don’t want to spend money on renewing my membership if it’s not going to work.

Mine is broken too and there is no way to contact a live person at Event Expresso. So frustrating. I am losing $$$ by the minute.

Hi sbcoleman and Jack Goo,

Jack, it sounds like you need to go to the WP > Permalinks page and that will reset the permalinks and fix that 404 error you saw.

sbcoleman, I am a live person, and I’m here to help you. How can I help you get up and running today? Are you also getting a 404 error when you try to view an event page? If so, you go to WP dashboard, Settings > Permalinks, and that will fix what’s broken.
