editing live event page

I am not a regular user and the person in charge of our event site is on vacation. We need to change the message on our page that is incorrect. PLease advise on how to access the page and edit the message

Hi there,

It depends on how the site is set up, but generally you’ll need to edit the event itself.

Dashboard -> Event Espresso -> Events.

Find the event in question and click on the event name.

You’ll now load the event editor, do you see the error on that page?

Can you post a link to the event so I can take a look? I may be able to see how its set up from that.
