WP 3.5.1
EE 3.1.30.7 cannot add featured image to this post type btw
EE C 2.0.4 shows blank page btw
EE MA 1.9.6
EE MER 1.0.4
EE P 1.5.3
EE RE 1.1.7
EE SM 1.1.4
EE T 2.0.9 cannot add featured image btw

The email confirmation sent to a paid attendee has dropped the last letter of their email address. Here is the head of the email and I will XXX the first part of her email address.

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at ssefl.com.
I’m afraid I wasn’t able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I’ve given up. Sorry it didn’t work out.

:
Sorry, I couldn’t find any host named att.ne. (#5.1.2)

I checked to see if she entered it in wrong and she did not…she entered the whole “net”. I checked under USERs and Event Attendee locations and they are both showing correctly, but I have received 3 return errors. The only thing I see that may be a clue for you is that there is a second name and email on her purchase for a second attendee.

I assume it sent to each separately…only the .net came back with the dropped “t”

Overall, much is not working on this Fresh install on a new site on a new MediaTemple VPS. I first installed it on a shared host. then decided it would need to be on a stronger server as it will likely grow to about 10000 members within a few months once we promote it to our demographic. the site is http://www.hebraicevents.com

Thank you,
Victor

Was it working on the shared server before moving? Are there any other non-EE plugins installed? What theme are you using?

So something is breaking the email address? Have you looked in the database to see if the email address is intact after submitting a registration?

Hi Seth,
Yes it was working…
Turned all other plugs off …
and applied 2010

My test emails ending in .com worked fine I could test a .net I have to see if it dislikes a trailing t, but I doubt it could be that

I am leaning toward it being a server config. It is lightly supported server, So I may need someone like yourself to nose into it. I have root access. All I have done with it is up some php.ini memory and time limits thus far

Hi Victor,

We generally recommend using a service like Mandrill or Postmark instead of relying on the built in mailserver.

If you opt-in to our pre-release channel downloads on your account page, you’ll get access to our Mandrill/Postmark email plugin.
