Hello,

I am wanting to create a drop down list of events on my site based on two pieces of criteria, City and Category.

Is there an easy way to do this without involving a lot of custom code?

Hello,

The closest option to this would be the drop down list that is available for the Calendar (EE3 & EE4):

It looks like this on the front end:

Using the filters will update the events that are currently shown on the calendar.

This drop down would work well, do I have to enable the calendar to utilize this?

Yes, its currently part of the calendar.
