Hi

We have an Event Espresso Business Licence.

When entering a registration and clicking the Submit button. we get the following error message.

Warning: Division by zero in /home/mikdou1/fishphilosophy.co.nz/wp-content/plugins/espresso-infusionsoft-pr/index.php on line 142

We are using the InfusionSoft Integration add-on and have it set to use the gateway facility in our InfusionSoft application.

How do we fix this error message.

Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike,

I will have to pass this over to a developer to look into, but can I get a little bit more info.

Is this happening on every registration or only some?
If only some, can you provide a link to an example?
Is this occurring on free or paid events or both?
What version of Event Espresso are you using?

Hi Mike,

It looks to me like your either not getting the price or the attendee quantity when registering for an event. Can you give  us a link to the registration form for this event?

Here is a link to the page.

http://www.fishphilosophy.co.nz/event-registration/?ee=1

We only have one event. It is a paid event. We are running 3.1.32.2.P

Thanks, Mike

It looks like you have recaptcha turned on, but no api key.

Do you mean the api key for InfusionSoft, as I have this populated in the Infusionsoft Setting area. Can you please eloborate.

What Sidney is saying is that you have reCAPTCHA turned on in your WordPress admin > Event Espresso > General Settings > reCAPTCHA settings, but the API keys are not set. So we are unable to test.

I did find a possible bug on that line you mentioned above. I probably won’t be able to have the update posted until Monday, though I could email you the update to the Infusionsoft add-on before then.

Thanks, Yes if you could e-mail it to me before Monday. As all of our promotion starts on Monday morning our time (New Zealand time) so needing to get fixed before then.

Thanks, Mike

Hi Seth,

Thanks for that. I’ve done the install and that has fixed the error message.

One question, is when I confirm the registration it goes through to the Payment Overview page, and under the heading “Please Choose a Payment Option” there is nothing there accept a greyed out piece of text saying ”  denotes an external link. clicking will take you to another website for payment processing.”

Is there something I need to setup in the Payment Settings? I’m unsure of how using the IS payment gateway is supposed to work.

This seems to be the last peice to my puzzle so I can go live with everything before Monday.

Thanks, Mike

Sorry, I guess I forgot to provide details on setting up the gateway properly in the documentation. I have updated the documentation here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/infusionsoft-addon/#gateway

Please let me know if you have anymore questions.

Hi Seth

Thanks, the challenge is I don’t have an InfusionSoft Payment Settings box to expand. Am I missing something?

Did you happen to make any modifications to the gateways after installing Event Espresso? Can you please verify that you have an “infusionsoft_payment” directory on your server in the wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/ folder.

Do you mind if I take a look around your system? Please send WordPress admin level log in credentials via this form:

Hi Seth,

Not that I recall. I had my WP developer doing a bit of work on the CSS for the registration page. I’m not sure if he has done anything.

Will send login details via form

Thanks, Mike

Hi Seth,

I had a look and there is no such folder in the wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/ folder. I noticed in looking in the original Event Espresso zip file that I installed, that when I unzip that, there is not one in that either.

So I’m wondering when the InfusionSoft folder you mentioned is installed.

Thanks, Mike

Hi Seth,

I had a look and there was no InfusionSoft_Payment folder in the gateway folder. So I downloaded the pre-release version of Event Espress, and unzipped it, and found the folder and copied the folder into the gateway directory, and activated. That seems to have gotten it working.

The only thing I noticed when testing it, when I go through to the point to enter the credit card details and stop there, when I check my InfusionSoft App, none of the contact information is showing up. It just shows contacts as ‘no info” with no information in the records, like it’s creating a blank contact record.

I’m not very confident this is going to work, and I’m due to launch the event on Monday, and can’t really hold off any longer. Any thoughts?

Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike,

I just had a look at your system. I seen that you still had Event Espresso 3.1.32.2.P activated, so I went ahead and activated version 3.1.33.B.2 and registered for an event. Can you please check your Infusionsoft account to see if that worked?

Hi Seth,

Yep that all seems to have come through fine into my IS App.

Thanks heap for all of your help!

Mike
