Displaying tax amount per line item in invoice/receipt?

In Australia, we have clear requirements on how to layout invoices especially in regards to our federal sales tax (GST @ 10%).

I’m customising the EE4 invoice and receipt html templates to bring them into line with these requirements.

I’m wanting to display tax at a line item level, not just as a total for the complete order.

So, 1 x workshop ticket @ $100, plus GST of $10 = $110 total

I see there is no shortcode for displaying tax per line item and am wondering if there is another way to get this amount?

Hi Richard,

Depending on how you’ve set the tax amount in the ticket editor, the following shortcodes will display tax line item information:

[LINE_ITEM_NAME]
[LINE_ITEM_DESCRIPTION]
[LINE_ITEM_QUANTITY]
[LINE_ITEM_AMOUNT]
[LINE_ITEM_TOTAL]
[LINE_ITEM_TAXABLE_*]

The above shortcodes can be placed within the
[TAX_LINE_ITEM_LIST]
section. Then you place the
[TAX_LINE_ITEM_LIST]
short code into the Main Content section.
