Hello,

I am trying to display the map of the venue in event details but I cant seem to find a way to do it using template do_shortcode? I can only find wordpress shortcodes. Could anybody help please? To clarify, I only wish to echo the Google map of venue.

Thanks very much in advance.

Hi, the Google map for the venue should be appearing on its own if its enabled through the venue editor:

It appears below the ticket selector on the single events page.

There isn’t a shortcode for displaying it elsewhere, however it can be repositioned on the page. Is that what you are trying to do?

Oh I see, so what youre saying is, I can’t display the google map itself on the Event listing page?

Does the same go for the Ticket Selector?

Thank you.

Hi,

You can show both the venue details and ticket selector on the event list (normally /events/ ) by going to Event Espresso > Settings > General Settings > Templates tab and selecting yes to both “Display Ticket Selector” and “Display Venue Details”

If you need to edit the template files then you could use the following template tags https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-themes-templates/

Thank you very much! Ive got the tickets available displaying correctly. However the google map of the venue is not displaying? I used <?php echo espresso_venue_gmap() ?> template tag. What am i missing?

Ignore, I got it working. I had to also enable Google maps for the actual venue. Thanks for your help guys!
