Details icon missing from ticket info row

I’ve used this tool for years, but when upgrading to the latest version of WP, I am not able to see the icon to expand the ticket details in the admin. So I can’t populate the advanced detail for the tickets in my event. Is there a fix in the latest version?

Hi there,

Which specific version number are you using?

Have you switched to the advanced editor or using legacy? (I’m assuming legcy from the above)

Go to Event Espresso -> Events -> Default Settings (tab)

You’ll see the option ‘Activate Advanced Editor?’, select ‘Advanced Editor’ and save.

Now refresh the event editor page and you’ll be using the new event editor, that has access to all of the previous settings in a new format.

Side note, if I switch to using the legacy editor I can see the cog icon and advanced settings:

Are those the icons you can’t see currently?

Thanks for the quick reply! Right now I can only seem to get the “decaf” version working on my new WP version, but I’m going to try and install the latest full version soon. I don’t see that setting in the free version.

WordPress Version: 6.2
PHP Version: 8.2.5
MySQL Version: 10.6.12
Event Espresso Version: 4.10.46.decaf

Decaf doesn’t include the advanced section, that’s why you can’t view it.

May I ask why you installed decaf?

When moving to the newer version of WP, version 4 broke the site, so I tried the free version to see if that would work. There shouldn’t be any conflicts, as there are no other plugins being used on the site. I’ll try the latest full version to see if that works.

EE4/5 should have no issues with the latest version of WordPress, we run it on the majority of our test sites.

Have you tried reinstalling the premium version?
