Delete trash events

I have 300 + events in trash. No transactions are associated with them. I cant however delete them ? I just get either an error page or I dont have access to delete.

Are you logged in as an administrator?

Can you post the error page mentioned above? Either paste the contents here or a screenshot will also work:
