Hello,

I have several events which past already and I would like to delete those dates in order to add new ones and clean it up a bit. I cannot, however, delete the dates or the event because it did have people who registered.

Shouldn’t there be an easy way to delete past events or at least hide them? or is the only way to make a whole new even page every time? Otherwise, it will just be filled up with past dates and take up a ton of room..

Please help, thanks!

Or is there a way to hide past events from the event page?

Hi Alexander,

The code snippet in this link will remove expired events from your event listings page:

https://github.com/eventespresso/ee-code-snippet-library/blob/master/templates/de_ee_filter_events_out_with_expired_tickets.php

It can be added to your child theme’s functions.php file (do not include the opening php tag) or a site specific plugin:
