Delete older versions of EE plugin before i

I purchased the EE4 plugin, but when I install this it keeps telling me that EE is in Maintenance Mode because a previous version was found (EE 3.1.6 Lite). Before installing EE4 I deactivated and deleted the old free EE plugin, but somehow it stays in the system..

How can I completely clear the old plugins from my WordPress site and start over fresh with EE4?

Hi Wouter,

You have already deactivated and deleted Event Espresso 3 Lite so I recommend going with the second option which will leave your EE3 information as is and start fresh with Event Espresso 4.
