Declined Payment

I have a customer who made a payment and it showed that it was approved on my EE backend site but shows declined at authorize.net. she also shows it as declined. why does it show approved on EE?

Hi Kim,

Can you take a look within your event and let us know what the ‘Default Registration status ‘ is set to please?

It is set to pending payment.

To confirm, is it the payment within the transaction that shows as approved or the registration?

no there is a reg code 725-117-1-7d58

it looks like both the reg and transaction are ‘approved’.

Hmm, EE should only Approve the registration if the response from the payment method was also Approved.

Can I take a look at the transaction within the admin? If so please send temporary login details using this:

https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

Also please include the Registration or Transaction ID in the message so I know where to look.
