Customer does not complete, but EE confirms registration and payment

We’re having a problem at http://indigofirestudio.com. When registering for a class a customer can start the registration process, get to the Paypal screen, and leave before payment. But Event Espresso has already confirmed the registration and payment.

O, we’re using EE4, and Paypal Standard with a business account. I went through various EE settings, including the Paypal settings, and didn’t see anything wrong..

I was having a similar issue – ensure you have tried this: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-set-up-paypal-ipn/ – this helps in situations where users’ close windows before transactions are complete.

Hi,

Are you using the latest version of EE4? (Currently 4.4.8)

What is the default registration status for your events? (Edit the event and look in the ‘Event Registration Options’ – http://take.ms/l8LsO)

Is that currently set to Approved?

I think we may have solved this. Going to Paypal and re-setting our IPN seems to have fixed it.
