I need to be able to insert different disclaimer info based upon a specific event type. Any Idea?

Hi there,
When user refer to the ‘checkout page’ they often means something different from what we (support) think, so can you add a screenshot that shows the location you are referring to please?

You may be able to use different question groups for those events if you mean on the registration form.

The text in red is on the page: registration-checkout, this is customary for all events. We want to make an exception for this particular event and not include the additional fees. Is there an easy way to do this?

Ok, that text isn’t from Event Espresso, it looks like the text has been directly added to the registration-checkout page itself.
If you edit that registration-checkout page do you see the test and then the [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUOT] shortcode below it?
You can edit the page by going to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical Pages and clicking the edit link next to the registration checkout section.
