Custom gateway mutiple mails

Hello,

I’ve created a custom gateway and it is working but the IPN is called multiple time by design from this gateway – and by that customers/admin get mutiple emails.

Is there some way to prevent this? does EE keep track on if email confirmation has been sent?

Event Espresso doesn’t keep track of the email confirmations. When they’re set to get sent after payment is made the emails are triggered with the IPN. There is a way around this: You can set the emails to get sent before payment is made.
