Hello. I just purchased and downloaded EE3 and am trying to customize a registration form. Please note that in your documentation, it states that registration forms are easily created using our custom form builder.

https://eventespresso.com/rich-features/custom-registration-forms/

I have downloaded EE3 to WordPress, as well as the applicable plug-ins. Where can I find this custom form builder?

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hi there Jennifer,

They are part of the questions and question groups editor which are available through your WP dashboard (WP-admin). Could you take a look at the following tutorial?

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/create-registration-forms/

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks, Lorenzo. Is there any way to require the user to answer a question, before moving onto the next page?

Also, please see that in the Firefox browser, my registration form is not displaying correctly.https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/0AQuEPU71plR7YHzQEK_DHkEiFrMOsisI7uBu7bwAZ4?feat=directlink

Please advise. Thank you.

Hi, you can set one of the questions to be “required.”

I can see your questions on the page. They appear to be shifted towards the sidebar.

We’ll need to see the event page to troubleshoot this issue.

Thanks

Lorenzo

Hi Lorenzo,

Can you please let me know how you would like to see the Events page–so that we can trouble shoot the shifting issue? It appears to only be happening with the primary group of questions.

Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Hi Jennifer,

You can inspect any element on a page using a free tool like Chrome Developer Tools (available with Google Chrome) or Firebug (available as a web browser extension).

This will show you the CSS that is handling the styling including the file and line number. Then you can add new styling to your child theme’s stylesheet or through a plugin like Reaktiv CSS builder or My Custom CSS.

We tracked this down to some CSS from your theme for shortcodes.

Try this CSS to correct the styling:

.event_espresso_form_wrapper h3.section-heading {float:none; !important;}
