we are building a new site on the Divi wordpress platform.

Do you have any documentation for converting over? Will all events be saved?

Also, is there a way to backup my custom email templates so all my formatting is not lost?

Thanks

Hi there,

We don’t have documentation on using Divi and I’m not sure what we could provide.

When you say converting over, what exactly do you mean?

You have an EE3 license, are you switching over to EE4 at the same time as switching to use Divi?

we have already upgraded to EE4 a while ago.

i mean we will be re-installing event espresso on the new site. we are building it out on a different web address. I don’t want to lose all my settings and templates. will this just carry over?

No, all of your settings and templates are stored in the database of the site you install EE on.

Currently, the only way to transfer those is to copy the database from site 1 into site 2 and rebuild from there. As EE uses custom post types you can’t just copy specific tables over, you’ll need a copy of the site,
