Consistent Permalink Issue

Hi it seems after a few months or so, the registration link will have an error and it’s remedied by visiting the permalinks setting.

How does this consistently happen and how can I fix this permenently?

Hi Dave,

We haven’t found a reason why this happens, but we do see it happen on sites with the Divi theme. Our guess is something on the site is resetting the site’s rewrite rules at a moment in the request when EE’s custom post types are not accounted for, so any rules for Event Espresso’s events and other post types get wiped out. That’s why going to the permalinks settings page fixes this.
