Oh wow. When will this be supported? I will be having an event with 1500 attendees in March, which was the reason we bought your system. Without this add-on it’s pretty useless….
Scanning tickets using a mobile app is supported now, the only difference being that we don’t currently have a dedicated EE tickets app.
Do you already have users registered onto your event?
The reason I ask is you could switch to an EE3 license and use EE3 if those ticketing apps are critical, however their is no migration path down from EE4 to EE3 so any existing events, registration, payments etc would need to be manually created in EE3.
I’m still testing the software. The only 2 attendees are myself at this moment. If I switch to EE3, are there big differences? Which options can’t I use?
The options you can not use depend on the add-ons in which you are currently using, I can provide details if you let me know which EE4 add-ons you intend on using.
You can also register to Test Drive Event Espresso if you would like to take a look at how EE3 works without needing to install it.
