I am trying to use the native event plugin with event expresso. |
Hi Tony, We received your support token form. Yes you can set Event Espresso to use a different string. May I ask is there another string you’d prefer to use other than |

Hey Josh, although it might get confusing I would like to keep the native app as “events” and us the Event Expresso string as “event” or will this work? If I need to get away from event/events then let’s use “exp” as the new string |

I’ll set it to |

Ahh, I see where I can change the “Slug” or what I called the “string”. This helps. Now that I have this set up – how do I update the main events page for expresso? when we use the event cart it links to a predetermined event page (on expresso) as apposed to the native app event page. must this expresso event be used to be able to add multiple registrations during registration? will this expresso event page also use the same slug we finally end up with? (currently exp) |
Can you clarify what you mean by “update”
That’s expected because Event Espresso does not integrate with your other event plugin.
I’m sorry I do not understand this question. Can you explain?
Which page? |

Sorry for not being clear. Let me try again: 2.When using the expresso plugin: “register for multiple events” 3. Asked within question 2 Hope this is clearer |

Josh did I lose you? |
1. You go to Event Espresso > Events > Templates. Specifically the settings beneath Event List Pages. 2. You can change the link to another page, but if your third party page has no way of returning to the cart or or proceeding to the registration step then it could disrupt the registration process. The Multi Event Registration minicart widget can be placed within a widget area to avoid that disruption. Here’s a link to the documentation that shows how to change the URL for that link: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-multiple-event-registration-add-on/#change-list-url You can add the code from the above documentation to a functions plugin or into your WordPress theme’s functions.php file. |

Thanks Josh I appreciate the help – I will take a look. One last thing – our registration page on mobile and ipad is not showing any information. It works fine on desktop. Might we have a setting wrong? |
It wouldn’t be a setting. I checked with my iPhone and the information displays when check the registration page. To be sure though, what’s the URL that’s not showing information when it’s a mobile device? |

Thanks for checking… the url is as follows: |
That looks like a problem with the theme’s “Page with Background Image” Page Template. Do you see how the |
