Confirmation email to guest

Hello,
i tried to find the answer in the blog + documentation w/o success.
We are sending a custom confirmation email – prior to payments – as soon as they register.
The email body include the [custom_questions], but in the email we just have the PERSONAL group questions, not the additional groups we created.

Hi Francesco,

Could you please update your software to a current version of Event Espresso 3?

Next, on your question, is the issue that custom questions are not appearing in the email or is it that the email is not being received?

Also, could you confirm that you have set Event Espresso to use the custom email through the event editor?

HELLO LORENZO.

I will update the EE.
The Custom Questions appear ONLY for the one Question group.
Yes the EE is set to use custom email.
The email is correct is only missing several fields.

Are the fields that are missing fields that display on the registration form on the front end of the website? or are they admin-only questions?

The fields that are missing DO appear on the registration and on the database.
They are not admin only questions

Hi Francesco,

Could you take a look at the custom email message again in the event editor and does it have the shortcode to show custom questions like the one below?

I just ran some testing and custom questions are shown in the confirmation emails:

Hi Francesco,

I’ve just ran a test registration on your site and received an email containing all of your custom questions included on the registration form, do you still see a problem when testing?

If you are providing the same content within the registration form for each test, or re-sending the registration from within the admin it could be the email client is simply hiding the duplicate content, Gmail for example will do this and you need to expand the full email by clicking the 3 dots at the bottom of the message.
