Collecting individual registrant names during registration process

Hi there,

I’m in the process of upgrading from a very old version of Event Espresso, to EE4. I am struggling to get the registration process working as I want it to.

In EE4, I have selected “NO” to the question “Allow copy #1 attendee info to extra attendees?” Expecting that will allow users to add multiple registrant names. However it doesn’t – it makes the name of all registrants the same, but gives them an option to change them at the end (which is not very user friendly, and is not enforced).

In our old version of Event Espresso, if someone was registering for an event on behalf of multiple attendees, there would be a space for them to enter their details and then a button “enter another attendee” which would pop down space for another person’s details, and would continue until they had entered all the attendee details PRIOR to completing the registration.

How can I get that same system to work in EE4? Thanks

Tony

Hi there,

Within the Event Editor, you need to select the ‘Personal Information’ question group for additional registrants.

Edit the event and look for this section:

Ticket that checkbox and update the event, then register onto multiple tickets. EE should request details for each registrant.
