I’m using ee4 decaf to present to a client, is there a way I can include city and state in event list and widget event list? |
Hi Jeff, there are template options to show the venue information in the event listings page in the regular version of Event Espresso 4 in Events –> Templates: http://cl.ly/image/1K1V1K3W0725 Adding the city and state to the widget can be done by creating a custom widget and then adjusting some of the coding. You could create a demo site on http://demoee.org and that will have the regular version of Event Espresso 4 running. — |

September 25, 2015 at 11:37 am Hi Lorenzo Any chance you could point me at some more information on how to put that custom widget and extra code together. It seems like a major missing piece for anyone promoting events at multiple venues? I’ve see a few peopele in the forums asking about this but I’m very new to WP and coding so I could use some help with this piece |

September 25, 2015 at 12:53 pm Hi Lorenzo, I’ve created the clone widget but don’t know where to add the code to bring in the city and state which your colleague mentions in the above link, could you help me out by telling me the line numbers it needs to go between? |

Hi Lorenzo, as above I managed to get the custom plugin working fine, I tried adding the code to add in city and state to the widget but without success, any chance you could give me a little extra help on what code is needed and where it should be inserted in the plugin file? |
Hi Jeff, please try this solution: https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/b955143d40dd9176c7c4 — |
