choosing where to send the Confirmation emails

Hi We have set up an event – they want a set of questions for the invoice and a set of questions for the delegates attending – the confirmation email gets sent out to the first delegate I think from our testing – but we would like it to go to the invoice as they are the ones registering for the event. I set this up using the same email address field for both question groups.

Can you help please

Also how do I order the events on the registration page as they want the gala dinner coming before the actual event

Hi Thomas, by default event notifications are sent to the primary attendee (first person registering) and the event admin.

It may be possible to have the email sent to an email set via a response to a question but that would require custom coding.

Hi Thomas,

The events on the event-registration page can’t be filtered.

What you can do though, is remove that page from your navigation (do NOT delete it!) and add a new page with the [EVENT_LIST] shortcode.

This shortcode also outputs a list of events but it allows you to filter them via parameters. For example you could use:

[EVENT_LIST order_by=id sort=DESC]

This will order them by ID, and sort them Descending (eg 5,4,3,2,1).
