On the checkout page, when there are no questions for additional registrants there are a series of boxes (one for each ticket) below the primary registration that all say additional info is not required. In fact the message at the bottom of the primary registration box also explains that additional details are not required. Couple of thoughts: Are these necessary? If they are useful to some, could they have additional classes so that they’re easier to hide if not required? Currently they all have: spco-attendee-panel-dv Thanks! |
Hello, This is how it is handled in the upcoming version of EE4: http://cl.ly/image/3U1O0m1h0R2b The additional attendee boxes also have unique CSS ids so you can hide them. — |

Thanks Lorenzo that looks good. The unique IDs are automatically generated though aren’t they? So they won’t be targetable in the CSS since we won’t know what they are. |
Alright, so you would like to hide the attendee 2, attendee 3 boxes as shown in this screenshot? http://cl.ly/image/3U1O0m1h0R2b I can share that with the development team. How would that work if you need to collect additional attendee information for a specific event (instead of using the primary attendees information)? — |

That’s exactly it Lorenzo if the boxes don’t need any info I’d just hide them. To answer your second question the way I would suggest handling it would be something like this (classes on the boxes): Primary attendee box: Boxes for attendees that don’t require info: Boxes for attendees that do require info: This way you have levels of control: A common class, differentiation between the primary and additional attendees and differentiation between those requiring info and those that don’t. Hope that makes sense. |
Thanks! I’ve shared this with the development team. — |
