We are selling tickets through EE (have sold a few already). We have locations where customers can go and pick up the actual tickets (the actual tickets that the arena selling at the box office with seat number on them)

The idea is customer come with EE ticket reciept and we use the app to check them in and give them the actual ticket.

Now we have 3 pickup locations. And I want to give access to some poeple to who at these location to log in to EE app and check in people.

Other then admin, when role I can give them to be able to log into the EE app and see teh event and the attendee list and check them in?

I have “event organizer role” already setup but are there and special previlages I have to give them to be able to check customer in?

Also I logged into the app using my admin account and saw the events, but when I click the “”Attendee” tab, I see the image below

attendee

When I scroll down the list, I think I am seeing all the ticket and the people who bought the towards the. How do I make this list show only the tickets that we have sold?

Hi there,

‘Pinging’ or ‘Bumping’ your threads will usually have the opposite effect than intended as we answer questions based on the last reply date, bumping your thread means your reply date is not your new ‘bump’ date and basically moves the thread to the back of the queue.

Other then admin, when role I can give them to be able to log into the EE app and see teh event and the attendee list and check them in?

Its not the role that matters but the capabilities assigned to the role (a role is just a collection of capabilities) so…

I have “event organizer role” already setup but are there and special previlages I have to give them to be able to check customer in?

Did you create this role yourself or using one of my examples, such as – http://take.ms/WcoqG

Or possibly another?

Should these users have access to all events or only events they are the author of?

When I scroll down the list, I think I am seeing all the ticket and the people who bought the towards the. How do I make this list show only the tickets that we have sold?

Currently the app will not show only ‘Approved’ registrations however we are pushing an update for the apps (awaiting approval) that should remove those ‘Blank’ registrations shown in your screenshot.

I created the role from the file you sent. It gave me “event organizer” and “event manager”

So once again, the question I asked was:

Other then admin, what role I can give them to be able to log into the EE app and see the event and the attendee list and check them in?

Basically I want a role where these “event organizer” can only see the events I assign to them. And cannot delete data from the EE WordPress dashboard. Let me know what privileges I need to assign and remove to make this happen.

Thanks

Again it does not matter what role you use as EE does not check for specific roles, it checks for capabilities. There is no other role setup by default that will allow you to do what you need, so it’s the Admin role (because EE assigned all of its capabilities to that role) or your own role with the correct caps.

Basically I want a role where these “event organizer” can only see the events I assign to them. And cannot delete data from the EE WordPress dashboard. Let me know what privileges I need to assign and remove to make this happen.

The easiest way to do that you will be to assign them as the ‘Event Author’ within the event editor for each event.

You can then use the ‘Event Organizer’ role from my plugin so that the user can only see the events they are set as the author for and check-in those records.

The specific capabilities required for check-ins are:

ee_read_checkin
ee_read_checkins
ee_edit_checkin
ee_edit_checkins

However you’ll also need the capabilities to view EE, events and registrations:

ee_read_ee
ee_read_event
ee_read_events
ee_read_registration
ee_read_registrations
ee_read_transaction
ee_read_transactions

My version of Event Organizers do not have any _delete capabilities, so they can not remove records from WP.
