Check-in process does not respect ticket's # datetimes limit

Scenario is quite common: Event has 10 datetimes and we sell tickets for: single session, 5 sessions, or all (10).

In ticket options –
“# Datetimes : A ticket can be restricted so that it can only be used a certain number of times across available event datetimes. An event may take place across 5 sessions but a ticket which has a datetime limit of 3 will permit a registrant to check-in to only 3 out of the 5 sessions.”

We do a check-in, either by entering barcode id, or using Event Check-in list. A single ticket holder can check-in several times, to different sessions/datetimes. It does not limit the number of check-ins (although we defined # datetimes).

Expected: After a single ticket holder checked in to a one of the datetimes, an attempt to check in to another datetime will present a message: “Registration datetimes limit”…

Hi DanielK,

Thank you for reporting this, I have confirmed the behaviour reported above and created a ticket for our developers to investigate.

Do you have an active support license for Event Espresso? I’d like to move this out of the pre-sales section as this isn’t a pre-sales question but without a license you will be unable to reply.

Hi there,

I want to let you know that the issue with the check-in and ticket’s datetime limit is fixed in Event Espresso 4.7.10.p. It’s available as a 1-click update for active support license holder’s on their WP > Plugins page.

The support post ‘Check-in process does not respect ticket's # datetimes limit’ is closed to new replies.
