Hello,
I can check in the attendee by scanning the QR code without an issue, but when I re-scan the QR code to check them out it says DECLINED – Attendee already checked in.
In all, I would just like to Scan the QR code at the begging of the show to check In and Scan at the end of the show to Check out. Also, upon check out I would like an email to be sent out saying Thank you.
Iv’e tried: Deactivating the Ticketing and API plugin and reactivating
Wordpress Version: 3.9.2
Event Espresso Version: 3.1.36.5
Event Espresso – Ticketing: 2.1
Event Espresso API Plugin: 2.1.2

Hi Jean,
Currently that isn’t how the Ticket App works. The QR can be scanned to check in, but check-out needs to be done manually within the attendee list.
The main reason for this is speed, if when you scan a QR code and it then asked if this was to check in or out this would significantly increase the time it takes to scan multiple QR codes, as each scan would need a confirmation from the user.
We can not automatically assume that a QR with an attendee checked in is being scanned to checkout again as then QR codes could be shared by multiple users (each time they scan they will be accepted (checkin or checkout).
Can you tell me which version of the app are you using please? iOS or Android?
