Changing VAT/Tax Number Name

Hi Guys,

Just wondering where I might go to change the “VAT/Tax Number” wording found on the invoices and receipts to “ABN”?

In Australia the VAT is called GST and a Tax Number is an ABN or ACN.

Hi there,

Within Event Espresso -> Messages you will find the templates for both Invoices and Receipts.

If you edit the templates there (in this example Invoice) you’ll find either of these the shortcodes:

[CO_TAX_NUMBER_*] or [INVOICE_PAYEE_TAX_NUMBER_*]

You can add a ‘prefix’ attribute to those shortcodes like this:

[CO_TAX_NUMBER_* prefix="GST:"]
[INVOICE_PAYEE_TAX_NUMBER_* prefix="GST:"]

The prefix defaults to “VAT/Tax Number” but if you set your own it should be replaced with the value you set, like this – http://take.ms/pfhOh
