Changing the paypal item description for Paypal Pro

Is it possible to change the item description, as described in the forum link below, for Paypal Pro users? I am aware that Paypal Standard users have this option.

I’d like the event title to show up on confirmation from paypal pro. Right now it is showing “Event Registrations from [blog title]” instead of the event title.

Hi, the payment options are both from PayPal but they run through a different API. I thought it would be a couple line changes but it appears to be more complicated than that.

I’ve created an enhancement ticket so we can make the descriptive option that is used for PayPal Standard also available for PayPal Pro.
