We would like to change the text that appears for the cash/check option. Right now it says “If you would like to pay by check or cash when you arrive for the class, click here to finalize your registration.” I cannot find this text anywhere in the options… only the text that appears below it. Where can we change this?

Hi awolf,
There is no option used to change that string, you need to ‘Translate’ the original test to do so.
However the original string is:
‘If you wish to pay by check or money order, then please make note of the information above, and click to Complete your registration’
So it would seem this has been changed previously and will depend on how this was done.
Do you have any Localization plugins such as ‘Quick Localization’ installed?

No localization plugins. Where is the translation file? It was probably changed there originally?… (Note we are using Event Espresso 3).

Hi, the translation files would be located here:
/wp-content/uploads/espresso/languages
Another possibility is that a gettext filter was used so you may want to check the child theme’s functions.php file.

It actually looks like it was changed in the check_payment_vars.php file… It was a hunt to find it, but I did. Thanks for your help!
