Hi,

We have created a number of pages that enable a user to browse categories easily. They are accessed by a “search” page: http://arsenalarts.org/search-classes/

When a user browses to a category page we would like to control the order in which events are displayed. Is that possible? And if so, what are the options? Here’s a sample page: http://arsenalarts.org/theatre-classes/

Many thanks,
Kimberly

Hi Kimberly,

You you can! The Event Espresso 3 shortcode documentation lists out the order by parameters you can use to order the lists of events where optionally filtered by category.

Here is one example: If you want to order the events by name (alphabetical) the shortcode you’d place on the page is:

[EVENT_LIST category_identifier=your-category-identifier order_by=event_name sort=ASC]
