Cart is empty after adding an event

Hi,
If someone is not logged into the site and adds an event, the popup comes up and says you have added 1 event to the cart and can click Cart or Proceed to Registration. Doing either will give a result of you have no items in your cart.

If I go back and add an item the popup comes up again and says you have 2 items added, but same results if I hit Cart or Proceed to Reg.

If the user is logged in it works just fine.

I do not have require user to be logged in turned on. I have tried it in multiple browsers.

Hi baystate,

The reason the cart works as expected only while logged in is because WPEngine serves the pages from a cache if you’re logged out of the site. You can contact WPEngine support and ask them to set up no-cache exclusions for the Event Espresso checkout pages. More info here:
