I need to sell time slots to a tour. Each time slot needs to cap at 25 people. But within that 25 people, kids are one price and adults are another.

Can Espresso allow a customer to select how many kids and adults they want to buy for a time slot, but cap the total purchased for that time slot by all customers at a certain number?

Hi there!

Thank you for contacting us! We appreciate your interest in Event Espresso.

With EE4, you can add a maximum tickets per datetime, then add the different ticket types to the datetime. This will allow them to select any quantity up to the maximum for the datetime.

Does that make sense? Will that work for you?

Yes that is exactly what we need in that regards.

We also need to be able to add sales tax to the tickets sold, as well as to allow people to check a box to be tax exempt. That checked box would remove sales tax from their order and present a file upload field so they can send their irs determination meet.

Hello, here is additional feedback on your questions:

We also need to be able to add sales tax to the tickets sold, as well as to allow people to check a box to be tax exempt. That checked box would remove sales tax from their order and present a file upload field so they can send their irs determination meet.

Sales tax can be added by using a price modifier. However, there isn’t a feature to exclude taxes and uploads documents are not currently available.

Thanks

Lorenzo

A few more quick questions:

Can I set up recurring events? I am only selling tickets to shop tours that run every 30 minutes Monday – Friday from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. I’d rather set up one recurring event (or 5 as in 1 for each day if needed) than have to set up a new event for each day.

Also, I need the sales cutoff for each day to be 7 days prior, even if set up as a recurring event. For example, if I set up a daily recurring event starting March 2, then I need the cutoff day for the tours for April 9 to be 7 days prior (April 2), not February 23 (7 days prior to March 2).

Is this possible with Espresso?

Thanks,
Rob
