Can't login to the ticket app

Good morning,

We have recently experienced an issue where we can’t login to the ticket scanning app on iPhone.

It was working fine until we went to use it at the weekend when we simply couldn’t get logged in via the app.

I suspect it was after a couple of recent plugin updates.

I have tried changing password and this is making no difference.

I can login via the backend of WordPress but the same password flashing up a message about Credentials mismatch.

Check login ID or password.

Please can you help?

Can you send me temp login details so I can test this from my device and capture the request to see what is happening?

Thank you, there is a fatal being thrown on the REST API requests (which the app uses to communicate with the site) so the issue is not with the app/credentials itself.

I’ve created a ticket for our developers to investigate this.

Hi there,

We’ve just pushed version 5.0.6.p live which includes a fix for the error your are currently getting.

Please update to that version and see if that fixes the app for you.

If you don’t see the version currently available on your site go to Event Espresso -> General Settings.

Make no changes and just hit save to force an update check, the update should show in the plugins menu.
