We’ve installed the business version and had a message in the event section that multiple events were available. After I added the license key in general settings, the message disappeared but the multiple events option is not there.

Hi Sean,
I’m sorry for the trouble. The Multi Event Registration feature is included with the Business license as an add-on, which is an additional plugin that needs to be installed. You can download the Multi Event Registration add-on from your account page. You’ll find it on the lower right side of the account page:
