The plugin works fine, we can create an event and display it on pages. However when i try to edit the event the only thing showing are the Registration Dates and Events Dates, no editor, other forms or buttons.

Hi Steve,

That sounds like a conflict with another plugin. Can you try disabling all the plugins except Event Espresso and see if the issue remains. If it does remain, you could also try swapping to a default theme temporarily.

Once we know what is causing the issue we can see if there is a possible fix/work around for it, or whether you will need to refer to the relevant plugin/theme creator.

Very strange.

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level and FTP details are appreciated.

Do I have your permission to deactivate plugins and theme if necessary?

As an aside your timezone should be the closest city not UTC, otherwise Event Espresso may report times incorrectly.

I just send the details. The websites is still under construction, you can switch themes or deactive plugins.

Thanks for your help!

I did the usual tests, in that I had nothing running but EE and a default them and it still had the issue, but it is only appearing on the edit event screen.

Your settings look ok, you are running Apache, etc.

As such, the only thing I can suggest currently is to increase the allotted memory (http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP) as that was the only thing that was wrong that I could see.

Increase it to 96m and see if that helps. If not I may need to await other staff members to come online to look into this as well.

Hi, I already ask my hosting support to increase my memory limit and tried (http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP). I Still have the Error.

OK Steve, thanks for trying that.

I am going to discuss this further with the rest of support as honestly, I am not sure why this is happening. One of the team or I will get back to you as soon as we can over it.

Dean, have you had a chance to review this with your team? Do you have any feedback yet? Please advise.

Hi there,

I logged in and disabled the “Use a custom time zone for each event?” option in Event Espresso>General Settings. There are a few issues with this option:

1) It really doesn’t do anything.

2) It causes the breakage you were seeing if it’s set to Yes and the WordPress time zone setting is set to UTC time.

It’s likely that the “Use a custom time zone for each event?” option will be removed in a future version of Event Espresso.
