Cannot disconnect Stripe on website to reset to live mode

Hi, I installed today the latest Stripe module. I had it all in sandbox mode on Stripe itself and on my client’s website. Now I’ve set Stripe to live on the Stripe site and have turned debug mode off on my website. The plugin has asked me to disconnect and reset to go live but when I click the disconnect button I get a gear turning icon and nothing happens. I cannot disconnect to reset.

This is the message I am getting: “Stripe Payment Method is in live mode but the authentication with Stripe Connect is in sandbox mode. Payments will not be processed correctly! If you wish to process real payments with this payment method, please reset the connection and use live credentials to authenticate with Stripe Connect.”

I have tried disabling the Stripe plugin and also deactivating it. Nothing works. I have deleted the plugin and all its data, and reinstalled it, but I still have the same problem. I can’t get live mode. I can’t disconnect to reset.

I hope this is the correct forum to post this problem in.

I have tried on Safari 11.0.3 and Chrome Version 63.0.3239.13. I am using WP version 4.9.2 and EE 4.9.56.p

I am now desperate. My client wants to accept payments from tomorrow but I am at my wit’s end with this. Please help!

Hi there,

Re-enable Debug mode on the Stripe payment method and save the settings.

Now click the disconnect button again, does it then work?

We have a ticket to add some additional code that will prevent the above from happening in the future, possibly disabling the debug mode dropdown when a connection has been made to force you to disconnect before switching.
