Cannot create PDF of order confirmation

When viewing the confirmation page after registering for an event, there is a ‘Download PDF’ button. When I click it, I get a “405 – HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed. The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because an invalid method (HTTP verb) was used to attempt access.” error.

I don’t see any PDF messengers or a way to create one, and have verified with our team that mbstring is running on the server.

What do I need to do?

Hello, I could not find any other reports of that issue. I ran a few searches and this may be related to a configuration with Windows IIS.

We are not server admins and we develop on Apache and Nginx but please ask your IT professional to take a look at these posts:

So the fact that no PDF messenger exists doesn’t cause any problem with creating this PDF?

No, the PDF messenger type is used to enabled the shortcodes, but you don’t see a PDF message type in the list.

If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings -> PDF.

You’ll see something like this – http://take.ms/iDeUg

As long as the PDF option is enabled there it is setup as expected.
