I have bbPress installed with EE4. When I try to create a new topic, I get a EE4 popup error message that says:
An error has occurred:
The requested form action “bbp-new-topic” does not exist for the current “Attendee Information” registration step.
And I get a bbPress error message that says:
ERROR: You do not have permission to create new topics.
Not sure where to start with this one?

Thanks Josh.
I’ve cleared my cookies and browser history and I’m getting the same error messages.
I’ve tried deactivating EE4 and it works.
I’ve also switched to the twentyfifteen theme and still get the error.
When I turn debug mode on, I get the following messages:

Any other suggestions on what I should do to debug?

No not at this time. The developers have worked on this and I’ll update this thread when there’s a fix available.

Oh shoot. So are you saying this is a bug with EE4 that I will have to wait for a fix? It doesn’t sound like it’s an issue with my setup, is that correct?

Hello,
This appears to be a conflict between bbPress and Event Espresso. The development team started reviewing this yesterday and are working on verifying a fix.
We’ll be sure to update this support post once we have more information.

Okay thanks for the quick reply. I will sit tight. If they don’t have a fix in the next couple weeks, I’ll look for a different forum plugin. If you have any suggestions on EE4 compatible forum plugins, that’d be great.

The fix is ready and it will be included in the next update release which should be sometime next week.

The fix was included in the Event Espresso 4.8.36.p update, which was released earlier today.
