Hi there,

I purchased a template from event espresso (showpro)

Sorry, but what is showpro? I’m not aware of a showpro add-on/template from Event Espresso.

I have an additional plug in that allows for different templates to be use for different working pages. I cannot seem to get my event to use showpro and it continues to use the default setting.

Can you post a screenshot of this?

I want it to look more professional but am struggling as I’ve found event espresso difficult to navigate.

Which part of EE are you finding difficult? If you can add some screenshots of what you are looking at I can investigate this further.

The one I bought was listed by event espresso as a theme that was compatible with wordpress. It’s called conference pro on the website but listed as showpro on my side after I downloaded it. Here’s the link to the event espresso site.

That page lists 3rd party add-ons that advertise compatibility with Event Espresso, we aren’t affiliated with the companies listed there and don’t control any of their integrations/features.

I can’t seem to be able to show screen shots. I don’t want to change the whole website, just the event related pages to make it look a bit more exciting than the default. I thought it was going to make it look like the preview example they show before purchasing it. I bought an additional plug in that allows for different pages to have different themes and double checked to make sure it was compatible with event espresso as well, yet even when I change the individual page to conference pro, nothing is happening.

I’ve never used the add-on in question here, it’s not from Event Espresso but ‘Showthemes’ and if they are advertising that as being compatible with Event Espresso it’s a feature they have created rather than ourselves.

Please help. I had help previously from y’all where you received access to the site, is it possible to do again?

Generally, I’m more than happy to help point anyone in the right direction for pretty much any feature I’m aware of. However, here I have no experience with the theme/add-on you are using and as this appears to be a feature of the theme and not EE itself you would need to contact the theme support for clarification on how to use it.

I can take a look at what you are working with on the site if you’d like, but I cant promise a fix for this as its not an issue within EE itself.
