OBJECTIVE : SIMPLE BOOKING SYSTEM FOR ‘NOT COMPUTER’ PEOPLE Step 1 : OR First page
Contain list of locations of all event. When we click on any location it should redirect to respective event page. (i.e Second page).
Step 2: OR Second page
Page headed with Location Name + Choose the session(s) you would like to attend:
Three columns:
First column; Tick box to select
Second column; Date
Third Column; Time
Ideally user would be able to ‘have a look’ at who is attending the various sessions
(Users would have to have the option of displaying their name or being ANON)
Session options would show vacant spots (that would count down as they get filled)
and whole session would fade to grey (not available) when filled.
Button for NEXT STEP (takes them to page 3)
Step 3: OR Third page
If I have chosen X session(s). If I would like to purchase more sessions
than I have currently booked, any unused credits will remain in my account.
And the ticket part is here.
Please Explain me if is it possible through EE4 premium plugin. I’ll appreciate all kind of help.
Hi Akash, here is an overview of the registration flow for registration checkout in Event Espresso 4:
Attendee/registrant arrives at event listing page or single event page –> Select a ticket (pricing) option and clicks Register Now –> Begins registration checkout with Attendee information –> Proceeds to Step 2 which is the payment page* –> Views a confirmation of their registration via the thank you page
*If no payment is required, then they would be brought to the thank you page instead of seeing a page to pay.
Your proposed registration flow could be possible but this isn’t something that is available out of the box. Custom coding would be needed here and we recommend checking with an Event Espresso professional:
One other thing is that Event Espresso does not have a credits-based system so custom coding would be needed for that as well.
Thanks
