Events Espresso appears to be sending out calendar invites to our registered attendee’s. How can I stop this?

Event Espresso doesn’t send out any calendar invites, do you have an example of the invite I can view?

Hi Tony, I can’t work out how to attach an image here for you. But it just looks like a standard calendar invite via email. We have a generic event email address we use for event espresso, and that’s the email that has sent out the calendar invites. I’ve checked the outlook account’s calendar & send folder and nothing has been sent directly from the outlook account.

The calendar invite looks like a standard calendar invitation.

As far as I am aware, EE doesn’t send calendar invitations at all.
If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Message activity you can see all of the messages sent by EE, unless you’ve had some custom work done to add calendar invitations you will not find any in that list.
Are you sure they aren’t google calendar notifications? The email address set in EE will be sent along with the other details if the user downloads the ical and adds the event to their calendar. If you can post a screenshot of the message we can help identify where it’s from.
