Calendar default week view & Navigation

I’ve installed the calendar add on to EE on my site and would like the default week view to be basicWeek rather than agendaWeek. I’m using this shortcode [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR show_expired="true" cal_view="basicWeek"] to call the calendar, but when you click the “Week” link above the calendar, it displays the week in agenda format, not basic. Where can I change this so it always shows the basicWeek format?

Also, the Previous and Next navigation to move through months/weeks does not show on my page: http://almsp.manageinfinity.com/calendar/

Hi Trevis,

We have a ticket outstanding to look into this issue, I will add a further note to it.

Hi Trevis,

You can change the button defaults in the calendar settings so the week button points to the basicWeek calendar view. You can also set the previous and next buttons to use a character so they’ll appear. Here is a screenshot that may help.

Hey guys, thanks for the help. I got the week view to default to basic, but still can’t seem to get the navigation to appear: http://almsp.manageinfinity.com/calendar/

I’ve also taken a screenshot showing the entered values for those settings: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s368/sh/8fac7851-47f3-46b9-b9f0-0d41a372e7c0/e2ea36e765e633b7e3e081a76c0d6ff6/deep/0/Event-Espresso—Calendar-Settings—Assistance-League-of-Minneaplois-St.-Paul—WordPress.png

Thanks again!

I checked and it looks like it’s having trouble loading up the themeroller stylesheet, which styles the buttons:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) http://almsp.manageinfinity.com/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/templates/css/themeroller/themeroller-base.css/style.css?ver=3.1.36.4.P

It might be as simple as going in to Event Espresso>Template settings, disabling themeroller, save the settings, then re-activate themeroller. If that doesn’t work, please check to see that the themeroller files are in your installation of Event Espresso. They should be in the /event-espresso/templates/css/themeroller directory.

Hmmmm… tried disabling Themeroller and turning it back on—no luck. The CSS file is also where it should be, I’m pretty sure. Here’s a screenshot of that directory:

I think what you’ll need to do is select one of the themeroller options, like smoothness or any of the other ones. That should fix the issue you’re seeing.

Well, that did the trick, but it seems odd that it was returning that error for the base CSS file. Oh well, onward! Thanks again for your help, have a great weekend!
