! Best strategy to move to a new Domain !

Hi Guys,
I have had problems in the past with our current hosting php being down rev, so I now want to move to a new domain, and a hostgator hosted space.
For a short while I’d like to run the software on both domains until I am sure the new domain is working, then I’ll remove the software from the original domain.

Original domain: http://register.kellycodetectors.com
New Domain: http://KellycoEvents.com

What is the best way for me to do this, and will the license work on two domains for a short period (1 week) while I get the new domain setup and working?

Hi,

You’ll need to migrate the entire database as Event Espresso stores its information in native WordPress tables and its own DB tables.

A tool like WP Migrate DB Pro would be helpful for this.

Your support license key will activate on a single site at a time.
